Initial consultation: £200- Consultant assessment to review test results and develop a treatment plan (flexible phone/video consultation options also available)
- One stop appointments combine the consult and infusion into a single convenient visit. Your blood results will have been screened to ensure an infusion is appropriate, you will receive detailed information about the infusion prior to this visit and be given the option of a consultation in advance.
- Full Treatment
- Following consultation with our doctor, a treatment dose of intravenous iron will be given as an infusion over 30 minutes in a safe, monitored and comfortable environment by a specialist consultant who will be with you throughout the infusion.
- You may be offered a larger treatment dose, depending on the cause of your iron deficiency and determined by your weight. This would be your choice as it would incur an additional charge to cover the drug cost.
